FULL THRUST + BUG When Full Thrust + Bug is selected, 2 markers are positioned on the Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System (EICAS). The markers being, a Green Chevron indicating the reference thrust calculated by the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) and an Amber line indicating the available thrust should Maximum Continuous Thrust be required. e.g. in case of an Engine failure. These values can be found on the N1 page in the CDU.
Note the speeds shown above. CON 98.1, graphically represented by the Amber line. CRZ 87.3, graphically represented by the Green Chevron.
The amber line is shown in all aspects of flight except when Reverse Thrust is selected.
BUG When Bug is selected, the Amber line is replaced by the Green Chevron showing the Max Continuous Thrust (in this case 98.1). The Reference Thrust is not shown.
